I am thankful for God’s provision in our lives. Psalms 23 is a writing of David that provides much comfort while living in this present world.
It reminds us in this chapter, that the Lord is our shepherd. The role of a shepherd is to care for their flock, which includes protecting them from predators, guiding them to good pastures, and providing for their needs.
In St. John 10:4 we are reminded that the great shepherd goes before us and the sheep follow him: for they know His voice. I’m thankful for the voice of the Shepherd that can lead and direct us to green pastures and still waters.
Psalms 23:3 tells us he restores our souls. Restoring is to bring something. back to its original condition. This great shepherd can lead us back to the same relationship that Adam had in the garden before the fall. Psalms 69:4 says He restored that which He took not away. We are searching to find that same relationship with God.
If that is your vision, come and join us as we press for more of God!
